July 4th, 2009

The fourth of July is also my Dad's birthday and we had a blast celebrating all day long.  We started off with a pancake breakfast with my parent's ward.  There was a really good turnout so we had the kids sit on the floor.

For his birthday, Amy and I put together a shelf with hooks for my Dad to hang his maps on.  
Chris got home from Scout Camp that afternoon and came up to Phoenix to join us/pick us up.

I love this picture.  Caught in the moment for sure.  Ephraim must have just sprayed everyone or something because he sure is getting an eye from both Micaela AND his sister Melissa.  This was a filling up water balloons activity.  They were all popped WAY TO FAST! :)

But, everyone is happy now. :)

Bubbles were popular that week.

So was Brennan's Nintendo DS.

That night we used some sparklers that Amy shared with us.  The kids had fun and we had a GREAT WEEK with the Pike's and Anderson's!!
