Nathan and Brelee have both become quite the talkers lately.
Nathan saw Wesly and Travis fighting over something and told Wesly that he needed to say sorry to Travis. Later in the week he heard Brelee crying in time-out in her room and he kept saying over and over, "be quiet Brelee, be quiet." You can tell he knows the rules of how to get out of time-out, say sorry, and be happy.
At dinner on Thursday I made a creamy cauliflower/broccoli soup to go with steaks. Nathan asked me if I made any tomatoes (potatoes). (We almost always have homemade mashed potatoes with steak or pork) I said no, "not this time, I made soup!" He said, "but mom, TOMATOES are DELICIOUS!" Travis said, "no, you mean potatoes and I don't like potatoes." Nathan replied, "no Travis, potatoes are DELICIOUS!" I wish I had it on video, the way he was saying delicious was just to funny!
Brelee recently has been saying a lot of words. I don't even know if I can list them all, but a few new ones include: again, candy, and down. she is also very expressive with her face. She gives the goofiest neck squeezing kind of grin and she likes to raise her eyebrows. she has started singing in the car, it is top of her lungs yelling and I have yet to figure out what tune it is, but she repeats the same one over and over. She went on for at least 10 or 15 minutes in the car one day and as soon as I called Chris to tell him she stopped.
Friday Chris had off and we ran errands together, she decided to sing and Nathan was having nothing of it, and Brelee was not letting him have his way. It really does get on your nerves and gave me a headache...poor girl, it was too cute, I wanted her to keep singing. I took this little video, ignore my scratchy voice, I lost my voice this week (as always!).

Nathan is a great kid! I like having gotten to know him better through nursery. And Brelee, she's just a cutie!
love those kids!
Your kids are too cute. They are all such good communicators, I love hearing the things that they say. It is so cute. I love to record things they say too. My kids LOVE having me read funny stories to them about things they said when they were little. They will love this someday!!:)
