Emali and kids :)

Cute little Emali has started a couple new things this week and I wanted to jot them down.  She started playing with toys on her own.  She can now open and close the little game that you have to do something different to get each animal to pop up.  (push a button, slide a switch, push a switch, turn a nob etc) She used to ask us to do it, and then she would close them all.  But come to think of it, she also recently started insisting on turning off the lights for us for each room and we let her push the button for the garage door and she loves to pull the handle to shut the van doors.
She also has picked up an interest in playing with the little people animals.  Daddy taught her that the giraffe's name is Jeff (toysrus) and she was clearly teaching all the other animals that the giraffe was "Jeff!" She picks up the animals and makes them hop around. She will pile them all up on daddys lap and insist he lets er crash the animals into one he is holding and he makes dying noises and she laughs.
In the last couple weeks she has started to request daily, to play on Just Dance 4.  Always requesting "Love Song, Baby!"  She also loves to listen/sing to the nursery rhymes on Starfall.com (head shoulders knees and toes and wheels on the bus are her favorites)

while I am at it.
Preston started rolling from his back to his tummy last wednesday. the next day, thurs., he was full on rolling across/around the room.  He can entertain himself so much longer now! and even better, he and Emali love to play together.  She will get him toys or talk to him while he is in the jumper.  He will be 6 months this weekend.  it's hard to believe that much time has passed!

Wesly had his last day of "Kids on the Run" yesterday.  The 3rd-6th graders geared up for a 5k race this Sunday.  But since it is on a sunday, we are having our own race this saturday with 5 other kids from church.  We are getting medals and donuts for them :)

Wes Trav and Nate finished flag football with their best games all season! Wesly's team wen all the way in the tournament to win the SUPERBOWL!!

Brelee and I are enjoying our last school year at home together, yet I know she gets bored with me a lot of days! She sure treasures her Wednesday morning playgroup with a couple of girl friends and an occassional friend over on other days.

We have spring break next week and we are sad Daddy has to work, but we will have fun doing little things.
We are looking forward to visits from cousins and maybe a movie night or 2.

Life is crazy but fun.
Travis got baptized on March 1st and was able to attend the Gilbert Temple Dedication the next day.  I have so many things to post about, but life moves quickly! Today is a half day, so I better get moving before I know it, the kids will be home and raring to do something fun!
