Old

It makes you feel kind of old when you get asked to chaperon a youth dance. At least it did for me. And not even so much being the adult there, but how much things have changed since we used to go the dances. Rules, precautions, things I don't feel were an issue when I was a youth are now. We live in a crazy world. But, on a better note, we had fun. Here are a couple pictures of us waiting at a stopped train. I wish we would have taken pics of us with some of the other chaperons. We had a lot of laughs and learned a little about some other couples. Lets just say a prank cockroach creates a lot of laughs. Even with being the adults, we all got to laugh. :)

The boys left a headlamp in the car so I told Chris I was going to wear it to the dance to break up couples that were dancing too close. He was not impressed. He also will SOMETIMES cooperate for a picture. :)

We ended up watching the purses and refilling refreshments and guarding an exit for a while, but we still had a fun night out with no little kiddos. Thanks Liz for babysitting! :)
