need to jot this down

Today Chris took 3 of the kids Christmas shopping with him. Travis stayed home with me and we spent some time reading together. I love watching this kid learn! He shows it all on his face and in his voice how excited he is! And it can be annoying, but he will read a word from a list of words, and the he has to use it in a sentence. Well, he thinks he has to...EVERY SINGLE TIME. And for some reason he likes to use a giant in the sentence. For example: The giant was big. The giant had a cat. But the words he read would be cat or big. He is SO particular about the way he does things and if we say something wrong he has to correct us. He can drive me crazy sometimes, but I sure love him!
Tonight, Wesly was getting ready for bed. He comes into the TV room and says, "I'm getting fat, (as he sticks his belly out as far as he can) I should have gone running today."

This evening I heard Nathan talking to Travis. "At my wedding, I am going to have cookies, and butter, and ......(names some other favortie goodies) and I am going to invite Ella." I am not sure what to think of this conversation. lol His favorite friend in the world right now is Ella. He talks about Ella daily. (Ella is 5 and is friends with all of my children, we all adore her). I was waiting for him to say he was going to marry her. But I love that it isn't so much of a crush that he has on her, as it is an honest friend that he loves to play with. Ella is SO kind to Nathan. I know his brothers always make him the bad guy and don't always let him play. But Ella is so nice and really plays with Nathan. He adores her. As for having butter at the wedding...wait...as for planning his wedding at age 3. Well, this is just for the records....lol!!

Oh, and Brelee broke her arm on Sunday. Guess I should posts pictures. She has a HOT PINK CAST!
