"Where are we going Mom?" "Crazy, wanna come?"

Working Mom.

I have to say that these last few weeks have been pretty disappointing at times. I have been working SO MUCH that at one point I felt like the worst Mom ever, dirty dishes a mile high, laundry covering the couch, boys staring at the tv for hours at a time. I have to say I would do quite a bit of rationalizing along with it all, At least the laundry is clean right? At least it is PBS and very educational, right? :)
I also had the best weekend with Chris this last weekend, and it started Wednesday. :) But only because he stayed up all night until 3 or 4 in the morning with me working on my last video project...(that I still get to redo) :p and then we picked him up from work Thursday to start his three day weekend.
Friday we went shopping on our way out of town. We went to the APPLE STORE. And in hopes to improve upon my bad track record for late hours working on videos, we bought a new computer and an impressive video program that I am hoping to get training and even get a certificate saying I know how to use it. :) tonight is my first class!

Friday night we went to Greenway High School's Choir Ice Cream Social. You pay to get in, but you get all-you-can-eat Ice Cream (hello!) and special performances by all the different choirs at the school. Some solos, duets, etc...My younger siblings Ammon and Brittany performed and we had a blast! My brother Kenny was in town from Utah and we were able to hang out with him and (most of) the rest of the family that night. The next morning, Sat., I had to be at the temple by 8 am to do some photography. My Mom got up early and made crapes for us. THEY WERE SO GOOD!!!! It was the best Mother's Day present. :) I love you Mom!
The other reason we haven't been going anywhere is because... Wesly and Travis are BOTH pretty much potty trained. Well, Travis is doing AMAZING, and Wesly...well, he goes when we take him. Crazy. Maybe I waited too long, and he is just sed to going in his pants...BUT he really never showed signs of being ready like Travis. and I hope I am not forcing it on him now, but he seems to be doing good. Day 1 was HORRIBLE. About 20 accidents in one day between the 2 of them. But day 2 was such a turn around it was worth it. I made my own potty chart for them to stamp and put stickers on, but if anyone knows where I can find a pre-made chart online...let me know!
Nathan is getting SO BIG. His big thing this last week was baby food. HE LOVES TO EAT! He will be 6 months at the end of this month, and he was trying to nurse almost every half hour sometimes. I was trying to wait till 6 mo. for baby food. (although I introduced it at 4 mo. for the other boys) Nathan just wanted to be big. He eats baby food 2 or 3 times a day now. Only because he REALLY wants to! Everyone else will be at the table and he will SCREAM to be fed, not nursed.
The boys love playing together. Nathan loves his brothers, even if Travis is caught stepping on him, laying on him, grabbing him, or bouncing him ridiculously high in his jumping swing...you can tell Nathan loves to play with his brothers, especially in the bath.
Saturday while I was taking pictures at the temple, Chris had the boys and his Mom and sister came out to visit with us. It was very nice of them to join us. We went to the visitor center and saw the display "Reflections" It is all re-enacted photos of Christ's life. They are beautiful. We also heard the short presentation at the statue of Christ. The boys loved that too.
We endedup going back to Chris' Mom's house afterwards to spend more time with his sister and Mom and Steven was able to come and meet up with us. We had fun hanging out, and before we left I made everyone pose for a picture. I WISH I would have gotten one with my family this weekend...and of me eating the delicious crapes. BUT I didn't. :(
We are supposed to have something busy each weekend for the rest of the month..so hopefully lots of pictures to come!!

Did you say you have to do that last project again?! My goodness, Kati!

Exciting on the computer, and the class - good luck with that!

One more final! I think you're gonna hear a bit more form me soon, (ie after tomorrow's final) I want to steal your Primary Music program, and your laminator at some point. :)

Your little one is quite the chunk! I have found that the skinnier babies tend to be mobile a little earlier but really on the third one isnt it a relief that you dont have to be chasing after him already? Congrats on the potty trainin too! I think Melissa and Doug has a wooden responsibility chart that has a go potty square that is kinda cool. You can find it on Amazon.com :) I would love to get together the next time we are in Tucson I am sure my sister would be willing to host a BBQ. I want to come down some time after her little one comes which will be in the next month (she keeps telling me Thursday but we will see.)

I'm going to have to get some potty training tips from you Kati. I admire your bravery to potty train two kids at once! It sounds like from your post that you guys are well on your way to potty training bliss (now that the hard stuff is over...).

I can totally relate to the working too much, kids in front of the tv thing (and the messy house - but I don't know that I can entirely blame that on me working:) )! I did a craft show yesterday selling hair bows and Ashlyn has watched so much tv these last 2 weeks that I feel like I've probably melted her brain! No craft shows anytime soon now though so I will try to help her recover from the damage:)
