I don't remember when it happened...but probably a week ago now...Travis asked me if he could have a hair cut! This is CRAZY because neither of my boys like haircuts. If you remember a previous post, Travis did okay and Wesly SCREAMED BLOODY MURDER when getting his hair cut. Well...come to find out, Travis was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to get a haircut if it meant he could have an OTTERPOP. But that was the whole reason he asked for a haircut. So we gave him both. Wesly said he wanted an otterpop, I told him he had to get his haircut. He then replied, "Mom, how about you get a haircut, and give me your otterpop, okay?" ...the sneaky lil guy! That night when putting the boys to bed Wesly told me his favorite part about the day was the baseball and that he was going to dream about playing baseball.

Saturday morning we went to help with an eagle scout project planting 150 trees. The boys came with us and Wesly and Travis loved riding on the tractor!!! I got some pictures with my phone, but I need to figure out how to get them to my computer. :( Chris unfortunately hurt his back really bad that day and was going to take the boys out while I worked, but he ended up needing a lil help himself.
Saturday evening was our Elders Quorum's annual break-all-the-rules pinewood derby. I took the kids to play at the park and watch the races as Chris couldn't make it off the couch. We had a great time and the cars were amazing...one had CO2 cartridges and others had small drills with propellers, and one was even self propelled. Creative. Wesly decided that Dad needs to make one because he LOVED the cars!
While we were at the park Wesly was playing with a little girl named Katie. He said "Mom, I am playing with Katie, she's my girlfriend!" In shock I said, "How nice, you and Katie are friends." He replied with "No Mom, MY GIRLFRIEND." WELL...I am not quite ready to have that talk with him, but I am hoping he meant, she is a girl, and she is my friend. :) HA.
Today on the way home from PUMP IT UP we stopped by Target to get a few things. After spending WAY TO LONG in the dollar section, as I ALWAYS do! We had to go to look at video games per Wesly's request (CAUSE THAT IS WHERE CHRIS ALWAYS GOES WHILE I GET WHATEVER ELSE WE NEED THERE) ;) and I bought some chocolate to share with the boys on the way home. It was pretty hot outside so the Heath Bar I had bought started to melt a little. I told Wesly I would have to put it in the fridge so that he could have some when we got home, but that it was melting.

Wesly said, "BUT MOM, two things melt...CHOCOLATE AND "WATERPOPS" (otterpops) and I DON'T LIKE THAT, THEY ALWAYS MELT! If you put that chocolate in the fridge it will turn into a "waterpop" and I will never have it again. MOM, I will be SO DISAPPOINTED if you put that into the fridge."
Wow, I could hear him quote me perfectly..I WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED. I must say that too much...lol
I love my boys!
