More Snow in Utah

Chris and I did get to spend a day snowboarding at Sundance in Utah. We got to go with my brother-in-law Sean, and we brought my three youngest siblings, Brittany, Micaela and Levi. I only got a couple pictures in the car beforehand, but we had a great day. There was so much snow the lifts opened an hour late because of avalanche control and closed an hour early because of too much snow. In the middle of the day we were actually "snowed in", the roads to the resort were closed. Good thing we didn't have to worry, we were just boarding/skiing all day. Thankfully the roads opened in time to go home and Sean has 4-wheel drive in his suburban, or it would have taken forever to get home!

Back at home we stayed indoors, well, most of us.

Nathan couldn't get enough of the snow, Chris played outside with him for hours. At one point Chris decided to throw Nathan into the snow. I was a few feet on the ground and Chris picked up Nathan, tossed him out, and suddenly Nathan disappeared! Chris didn't realize that at the edge of the yard, where there is a 4 or 5 foot drop, it had a huge snow drift pile that was even with the yard. He had thrown Nathan over the edge and Nathan sunk into the pile. Chris ran over and started digging to find a hand waving back and forth, he yanked him out and asked him if he wanted to tell Mom what happened. Nathan came in and said, "Dad threw me in the snow!" He had the biggest grin, Chris asked if he was ready to stay in, he said no and of course wanted to keep on playing. Not phased in the least.
ready for the snow storm!

the rest of us stayed in

Brelee wanted to go out too

All the red spots are what was exposed to the cold... he could have stayed out all day!!! Even in the blizzard, with the goggles, he was just fine.

Micaela is such a great aunt! she plays so good with the kids and they all LOVE HER!!!

New Years Eve dinner, pizza and chips!!

Watching a movie before bed time, I think this was Despicable Me.

Enoch was so nice to Brelee, showing her his new light/glow toy.

Uncle Sean is always so good with the kids too, He read this book to Brelee and she almost fell asleep, her poor eye got a little goopy that day, but thanks to a little lavender it went away fast.

Enoch sharing his birthday game with Zane.
