38 weeks and a day pics

Here we are...38 weeks and counting.
Baby girl is due in less than 2 weeks and if she had been on the same schedule as Brelee, she would have arrived two days ago, on Saturday. Today is Monday, and I guess if I want her to come anytime soon, I should pack the hospital bag. Friday we took the pre-registration form to the hospital (you know, the one you get 8 months before baby comes) and talked to some friends about calling them in the middle of the night if we needed it in the next 2 weeks. We talked so much about baby girl coming, that we both had dreams that she came. Saturday morning was kind of a bummer that there were no signs of her coming soon. But then again, I should probably buy diapers, wash blankets, get out the bassinet, and get ready for her. lol :)

My appointment last week was a nice change of pace. I was scheduled to see a different doctor in the practice and I really enjoyed a new face and attitude. She was very much aware that everything she did was my choice, and she didn't make it seem like I had to do anything she suggested. It really puts things in perspective when she says, "'Cause you know, no matter what I tell you about your progress, with this being baby number 5, you know that she will come when ever she wants...and fast. " I just have to remind myself of that. Get ready now, cause she will just be here one day :)

I know everyone wants to know if she is here yet...but she isn't :) and she probably will surprise all of us. I have to keep busy and keep scheduling life, but it is so hard not knowing if we will have to cancel on something...but I would rather do that then sit around waiting!

I am sure I will miss this belly, but ask Chris, I complain a little bit about it's size. She has been so active lately it is fun to feel her little limbs kicking me and I feel so bad for her when she has the hiccups. Last night as we were laying in bed she was doing gymnastics and had a bad case of hiccups. Chris said, if she were born already, I bet she would be crying right now. :) True true, her schedule is already so different than ours, life is going to be fun when this little girl decides to join us, and Topsy-Turvy too.
