April crazies

On March 7th, 2012 I sat down and made a list.  I had three things to shop for a one month to get it done. Baby due, Brelee's birthday, and Easter Sunday were all landing on the same weekend.  I did the Easter shopping first, and I never get holiday shopping done that early! I am SO glad I did, it really made life easier that weekend.  The little bit of shopping that my Mom and I did the night before Emali was born was the shopping for Brelee's birthday, and it's a good thing we did that when we did as well!  Emali was born April 4th, and we came home April 5th in the afternoon.  We decided to have Brelee's birthday party that day so Grandma Carbonneau could be there for it.  It was so nice to have a simple little party and already be ready for it.
Emali first comes home and everyone wanted to hold her.

Brelee and Nathan chose these toys (that were once theirs) to give to Emali long before she was born.  They were just waiting for her to come home to give them to her.

Pink candles, pink cake, pink everything is what Brelee LOVES!

She got a cute apron from Grandma Carbonneau.
She had been asking for a long time to get a My Little Pony Train with Pinkie Pie the pony.  Long story short, we ended up at Target the night my water broke, we were excited it was on sale and I was debating on getting a different gift that was discounted even more.  We decided on the train and continued walking around the store.  A man tracked us down and said his wife asked him to track us down and give us her coupons for the train set.  She wasn't going to use them and saw we had the toy.  She gave us 2 coupons that added up to a $10 savings.  $10!!! I wish I could tell her how happy she made me! And I am so glad he didn't refuse to help a stranger.

Daddy was super nice to set up and put stickers on the track so Brelee could play with it as soon as she was done with cake and ice cream.
We were sad Grandma Carbonneau had to leave that night, but glad baby Emali came before grandma left for Chris' cousin's wedding that weekend.
