LOOK! ALL 5 KIDS ASLEEP at the SAME time!!
and they even transfered into the house asleep and I have a minute to write this before I start dinner, which is clearly when all chaos is scheduled to break out.
I was feeling sorry for myself as I drove to Sam's Club for the first time with all 5 kids in tow and no Dad to help me out. Of course, 4 of the 5 kids fell asleep and I realized I left the front pack at home. How on earth would I be able to fit Emali in her car seat, 3 other sleepy (and by then grouchy) kids in the cart AND buy anything, let alone, 50 lbs of dog food, and mass amounts of toilet paper and other bulky heavy items????
I decided I could handle it. I asked Wesly if he was up for the challenge to help me push a second cart and we would figure out the details as we went along. Okay, self motivated, and ready to take on Sam's Club.
We got to Sam's and I decided to sit for a few minutes and feed the baby before venturing into craziness. I talked with Wesly about his homework and put Emali back in her carseat and started unloading children sleepily into the cart.
Then the kicker. I couldn't find my wallet.
I slowly loaded the children back into car while remembering Brelee playing with my wallet and me putting it up on the counter so it wouldn't have to play family with her.
Wesly cried that we had driven so far though, and now we are just going back home!! Yes Wesly, I know.
At least I didn't have to worry about loading a cart full of kids with groceries as well.
Hey! and they all fell asleep and got a 90 minute nap in the car.
Good thing gas isn't expensive or anything. ;)

Awww -- been there, done that (but with four kids, not five). I admire your willingness to even try. Quite a feat just getting out of the house! You'll get em' next time. :)
Holy crud. This sounds like my life. EVERY DAY?! well almost. I am glad you got naps out of it!
