Halloween 10.31.08

On November 1st Chris' Mom spoke at the adult session of Stake Conference. We decided it would be a good idea to go and listen and since Chris had Fri off and Alli was already in Buckeye visiting as well, we decided to go Thursday night and spend Halloween at their place too.

Friday we carved our pumpkins.

Wesly with his scary pumpkin. Making a scary face.

Travis and his pumpkin.
Like I said, it isn't easy to get them all to look at me at the same time...First one will laugh or look away, then the others follow right away or do their own thing.

Here are the best shots I could get at that moment.

Finally a smile. :)

Wesly and Travis were happy enough with Spiderman and Buzz costumes at the preschool activity, it would have been a lot less hectic had I just kept them in those costumes for Halloween. BUT I was able to make them Ninja Turtle Costumes like they had asked me to, and I finished Wesly and Travis' costumes before we got to Buckeye. When we got there I was kinda of burnt out on it and Chris' Mom whipped together Nathan's in no time at all! So, we got three of the TMNT, maybe next year number four can get their own costume too! I thought it would be fun if Chris was Leonardo and I could be April O'Neil, but it was a little much to take on for the moment..

On the way to go trick or treating Travis fell asleep. BUT we were lucky and he woke up happy enough to go door to door.
The boys trick or treating.

It was a fun night, the boys were done trick or treating before I thought they would be, but I think they were ready to go home and eat some of what they earned.

Looks like a fun halloween. Cute costumes. I can't wait till next year when Ethan finally will be out of hand-me-down costumes so that I can dress the boys matching.
