November 11th we met Chris' parents in Scottsdale so Chris and his Dad could go to a bike store while Chris got a bike fitting (made adjustments to the way his bike fits him), and Mom Carbonneau came with the kids and I to the train park.
Have you ever been to the Train Park in Scottsdale, AZ? I would highly suggest it for amazing playgrounds and lots of fun little things. You could make it a big production, or a short trip. Entry is free and there are lots of places for picnics or playing on play equipment. You buy little tickets to pay for a couple of rides and entries, that part they could improve on, but otherwise, we had a GREAT time. It just isn't super easy to figure out just how many tickets you will need or want, we ended up with a few extra and took a second trip on the train. But obviously that didn't hurt the kids' feelings.
Here we are peeking into an old machine shop. It had huge wheels by the ceiling and cables that lead down to the machines. The machinery was pretty cool looking.
